The moral need for the search for truth is intellectualized, objectified and becomes philosophy understood as universal knowledge. Philosophy captures beyond events and identifies the essence of reality. Have you ever heard of the myth of Plato’s cave? According to this myth, men live inside a cave and are forced to live their entire existence in chains, facing a wall where confused, chaotic shadows are cast. The prisoners have nothing but shadows and voices to reflect on and have no idea how real things are made. Tied to appearances, even men think by fleeting impressions and by heard, believing that their opinions are reality.
He who succeeds in turning around, in overcoming the strong impact with light and thus observing, for the first time, what light illuminates, will be able to say that he is free. However, man will only be able to free himself through constant study and research. Only in this way will he be able to draw, in a conscious manner, his conclusions in a complex, destabilizing and difficult to interpret world. And you? Do you want to let yourself be overwhelmed by the reality that surrounds you?
Do you ever think about how difficult it is to seek the truth? Do you ever think about how much strength, dedication and determination it takes to become fully aware and aware of what is happening to us? Before you go on, know that I have no presumption of imposing myself as the only source of truth and I do not pretend that what I try to convey is shared by all those who are reading. But day after day, my studies provide me with countless inputs that I am trying to place and use to achieve true critical knowledge of my surroundings. I am not going to take up your time because I believe it should be used in the most constructive way possible. Rather, I involve anyone who wants to, in my research and information collections. The fields of research will be varied and will cover more than one subject. They will be the result of a work carried out with care and selection because what matters in my opinion is the result of what I will be able to leave imprinted in your mind, as it is imprinted in mine. To tell the truth it is also a way to collect in a single container the storm that I have in my head. As you can see, I started this project with a personal photographic collection and I will continue to carry it on because I believe that beauty must be captured, understood and preserved in all its forms. The art form portrayed in my shots fully represents what I want to convey. Contents that are reachable and well visible, not of immediate understanding at times, but that have as their fundamental purpose the transmission and enrichment of those who manage to capture them.
